She's either been on a lot of dates and have found rude men who all want one thing; sexual intercourse. This princess wants one thing, to find her future husband that will treat her right or to get back that future potential husband she once had. She's grieving her significant other by looking at the moon in her "gauze stockings" while "the dew soaks my gauze stockings". This princess has been looking at the moon so long outside to where her clothing gets soaking wet from the snow. The princess can also be inside her palace while she "let down the crystal curtain" and "watch the moon". The quote where she describes the "crystal curtain" could resemble the luxurious curtain fabric she has within her home or the tears running down her face outside as she weeps her partner. And the moon symbolizes hope, the future, and happiness where she may be with her future husband someday. This story resembles a lot of Disney movies to me where there's a prince and the entire story revolves where she's on a mission to find her prince charming. (REFERENCES CAN BE FOUND BELOW JOURNAL) .
Shakespeare's Sonnet 73 was also a little confusing to me as well from the old English language it used. Ever since I was growing up Shakespeare was always a male to me. The Sonnet defines an old man in a relationship with a younger lady who is dying and how much he loves her. The sonnet is by a man referring his name is William Shakespeare and upon how descriptive and romantic he is within this Sonnet. The speech is credible by how professional the writing is and by the sonnet being by William Shakespeare. The narrator desires stand upon accomplishing the description of the aging man with imagery while at the same time demonstrating how little time is left in his romantic love story. The poem seems to take place in the late autumn season in the cold where leaves begin to fall from trees.
