Saint Francis and Saint Peter

            The church got to were it is today from multiple influential people helping to shape it. The church as a whole was not in a good position back in 300 bc. The church needed someone or a group to help repair it. The church had very few followers and needed a change. Saint Francis and Saint Peter had a huge part in renovating the church and shaping it. .
             Saint Francis came from a wealthy family growing up. His family had money because his he owned a business. Francis got anything he wanted. His father supported him and his friends going out and partying and drinking. Francis was a huge ladies man. One day he wanted to go to war and be a knight so that he has more popularity with the girls. Once he goes to war he becomes a prisoner there. His plan of being the knight who saved the day did not work out. When he came home he was very depressed and unhappy. He then goes back to war because he thinks that he may have a better chance the second time. While he is at war, Francis has a vision. Francis suddenly wanted to leave the war and come home. He had a vision of a mission that he had to achieve. .
             When Francis arrived home from the war he started to act nicer and treat people with more respect. This is unlike Francis. Francis use to be into partying with his friends and being with girls. When he came home from the war after having that vision he changed as a person. He started to pray a lot more and become more into the church. He started liking birds and flowers and nature as a whole now and appreciates what God has given him. One day Francis way praying to God and heard God respond, "Repair my church." Francis took this as literally renovating the church. He did not have nay money for supplies and he was so devoted to listening to God's message that he steels from his father to buy work supplies. Francis's father's name is Peter and is a very powerful guy. He owns an international clothing business.
