Political Typology and Socialization

Although personally I side with a majority of these issues I find that there are a number of issues that are not addressed in this typology.
             Each person has their own individual idea of each typology depending on how they have been politically socialized from a young child until the present day. My personal demographics for the most part match the typical person in my typology although; I believe the government should be able to help others who are in times of need which is a trait of people with the typology of Disaffected. The Libertarian typology suits my personal ideas and political opinion almost perfectly even though my ideas differ slightly to more of a Disaffected typology where 33% more are parents and 71% say they experienced unemployment in the past year. Disaffecteds are more supportive of the poor and welfare programs to help people who have lost their jobs or are struggling to find work. Both Libertarians and Disaffecteds are critical of government but differ when it comes to big business profits. 73% of disaffected believe that big business makes too much profit while 83% of Libertarians believe corporations make a reasonable and fair profit. I believe that my typology would fit somewhere in between Libertarian and Disaffected. .
             After taking the Pew Typology Quiz I found that I definitely agree with the results. Although I did not personally fit in with the 39% of people who make $75,000 or more annually and religion is very important to me, I do believe in people having individual freedom of life choices. Similar to the overwhelming 71% of Libertarians, I support gay marriage and abortion as long as each person is whiling to account for their own actions. I feel very critical towards our government's spending in certain areas of economy as well as 82% of Libertarians. The Pew Typology Quiz was correct on my typological orientation and I fully agree with the demographics they provide as being quite true to my own personal life and beliefs.
