Electric Vehicles have many benefits. They are environmentally friendly, not costly, and have great performance abilities. The best kind of transportation is, of course, using Electric Vehicles. The most important advantage of EVs is that they are environmentally friendly. EVs, unlike cars that run on gas, don't harm any kind of life form. The pollutants that come from burning gas, contribute to air pollution. A natural layer of ozone covers the Earth. It lets gases in our atmosphere, warms the planet, and allows heat to escape out into space. However, pollution has created a hole in the ozone layer. This pollution traps outgoing heat, which causes global warming. This harms polar bears because global warming melts polar ice caps. Also, since cars require oil, there are numerous oil drills. When oil spills into the sea, it is very harmful to marine life including seabirds and sea turtles. A bird's feathers have air pockets that keep the bird warm. When a bird gets coated with oil, their feathers lose their insulating ability and could lead to the bird dying of hypothermia. Gas-running cars also may harm human life because the pollutants will clog up the air. Cars produce about 350 million tons of carbon dioxide each year. Gas-running cars put arctic life, sea life, and human life at risk. Electric vehicles don't produce any pollutants. On top of that, the electric batteries recycle well so it can be reused and it won't be another item found in landfills.
Aside from being eco- friendly, electric vehicles aren't expensive. After buying an electric vehicle you will never ever have to pay for gas again.
