How can this argument be valid if they, themselves, just stated that illegal immigrants are willing to work any job available at a lower wage than Americans are willing to; if Americans really wanted these job then they too, would be out there doing thing such as picking cotton from fields, cleaning houses, bathrooms and buildings, random construction or building projects, helping people move, and working for meatpacking companies
.
Many people claim that illegal immigrants are horrible criminals who do nothing, except increase the crime rate and poverty of the United States. As stated by Roger M. McGrath, "these undocumented immigrants often congregate in communities.where the more hardened criminals among them can establish themselves and start far-reaching drug-dealing enterprises. " He then goes on to argue that immigrants only come to America so that can have kids who will keep them here, since their children are considered American citizens. He claims that the "the birth rate for illegal-alien mothers is more than double that for native-born American women, and even higher than the birth rate for legal immigrants " (McGrath). Illegal immigrants are even said to be a burden on the United States taxpayers not only because children of the illegal immigrants will be attending public school, which is funded for by the taxpayers, but also for medical that the children will need. McGrath also points out that illegal immigrants aren't only criminally because most of them are drug smugglers, but also because they are illegal in the United States. He states that illegal immigrants come into the United States, already bearing the criminal badge, to continue their lifestyle of crime here, flee back to their country only to come back into America to commit even more crimes. .
Although the accusations that McGrath states in his writings may be true, he does not provide any proof to back up his findings provided.
