Twins and the Black Sheep of the Family

Should twins be separated as early as kindergarten from classrooms? Do the children or the parents have a say in the decision making process of the separation? Some of the results that researchers have found on reasons why the kids are separated are talked about and also reasons why the parents would want the twins in the same classroom. The largest reason twins are separated is just simply avoid confusion and disruptions. Children in classrooms always have their ups and down but you put siblings in the same classroom, it could create a new dilemma teachers or classmates haven't experienced yet. On the contrary, twins are statistically closer in relation that any other sibling combination. With that being said if the twin's parents want the kids in the same class, to promote growth, it is often turned down, without a valid reason. This essay goes through the struggle I had a kid, and relates it to sibling stereotypes and also gender stereotypes that I experienced.
In all cultures gender stereotypes exist, among all the stereotypes. Through messages in the media, radio, television, religious institutions and even just simple childhood toys, gender stereotypes seem more and more dominant. Most baby showers that the parents know the gender type of the baby, will buy that sex specific color or outfit or sports gear even though that's not what the child would want. For example when boys are brought into this world they wear outfits that have sports teams on them or have very masculine colors and tones; blue, black. When girls are brought into this world they are typically given and typically given pink or purple or much more feminine attributes. I want to put a twist to this because nothing for me has ever been just black and white. I am a twin. I'm a fraternal twin, so I actually have a sister, and we really aren't that close. Although through the years I have desperately tried to stay close to my sister we are just different people.
