Defining Boundaries and Identity

"Every person is born with its own individual identity "What make person to lose its personal identity in order to maintain its public identity? Is it the society, government, family, friends or you? So there are boundaries between what you want to become and what the society want you to become according to your gender. I was a girl full of talents but no one wanted me to express it .the reason "I was a girl", now after 10 years all left with me is darkness. I am a mother of two children and wife of an engineer who believe that everyone should be treated equally. Today everything is changed boys and girls are treated equally. Girls get a change to study further so why was this not followed by the people when I want to study I just ended up being a housewife working 24/7 at home. My true identity was lost when I was graduated; no more studies helping my mom with house hold jobs and after 4 years I was married to my husband and having two children after my marriage seems like my identity was to keep them happy .
We were born on same day though but we were like two poles apart from each other. My brother was dominant child and I was wearing starling's shadow of him. My brother was jealous of my intelligence and he never misses a chance to bring me down as reputation of girls in our society was just to stay inside and do household work. My father was a farmer and he used to take me and my brother to work when we were small. We used to have turns to go with our father. I love working with my father outside though my father don't speak a lot with me but it was fun doing work with him.
