Gushee). Dehumanizing a human often makes it easier to torture them. It takes advantage of the body of the victim in order to get what the terrorizer wants out of them. When someone is being tortured you are mistreating someone at a very vulnerable state. This violates the right to remain silent when questioned. The reason why our legal system has so much protection for the accused and the imprisoned is because they are powerless. These people are vulnerable to injustice. When you are tortured you are in the act of injustice. .
             Many people may argue that if we accept torture that it can be controlled. That we can set rules and regulations in order to make sure that the torture is not inhumane. Lets say that the government authorizes torture. Even if the government only allows us slight use of torture we .
             will still find a way to abuse that power. It is human nature to try to find a way to abuse our power or to get more power over a situation. "We dare not trust ourselves to torture."
