Merging Education with Technology

            Computers have changed the way we work, regardless of profession. Therefore, it is only natural that the role of computers in education has been given a lot of importance in recent years. As technology develops and becomes more popular, so does the use of that technology. Computers play a vital role in every field. They aid industrial processes, they find application in medicine; they are the reason why software industries developed and succeeded and they play a very important role in education. This is also why the education system has made computer education a part of school curriculum. Considering the use of computer technology is almost every aspect of life, it is important for everyone to have at least the basic knowledge of using computers. However, with all these benefits of learning how to use a computer and allowing students to use these computers as a beneficial aid in their schoolwork, there are some drawbacks. For example, teachers using PowerPoint presentations and YouTube videos to basically teach their classes for them. .
             Computer technology has had a deep impact on the education of young students. Thanks to computers, imparting education has become easier and much more interesting that before. Starting with all the benefits of computers, they enable quick processing of data, they provide a large about of storage capabilities, better presentation of information, and most of all access to the internet, which could be both a good thing and a bad thing. Lastly, quick communication between students, teachers and parents is another huge benefit of a computer because not only does it save time but it also allows to students to have a way to contact their teachers when in need for help. .
             Students find it easier to refer to the Internet than searching for information in thick thousand-page books. The process of learning has gone beyond learning from textbooks to a much larger and easier storage unit of information.
