Environment and Islam:.
Islam, the religion of mankind and humanity, has shown an obvious significance on the issue of preservation of environment and nature. According to Shariah, the Islamic law, it is the sacred duty of a true Muslim to protect the degradation of environment anywhere that is harmful for mankind. In fact, Human being is considered as the best part of nature, even in some views, they are also the regulator of it. From the Islamic point of view we can see such ideas, and where nature or environment is regarded as the gift of the Almighty. Indeed, it is the bounty for mankind, the mercy of Allah and the complete Ni'mah (favour). The following verse of the Holy Quran can clarify this mater quite clearly: "And He has subjected to you whatever is in the skies are whatever is on the earth, it is all from Him. Surely, these are signs in this for people who ponder."11.
In fact, its (nature's) goodness is derived from that of the divine purpose. For the Muslim, nature is Ni'mah, a blessed gift of Allah's bounty to transform in any way with the aim of achieving ethical value since nature is Allah's work, His ayah or signs, and the instrument of His purpose which is absolutely good, nature enjoys in the Muslim's eye a tremendous dignity.12 Nature, and eventually Environment, is also regarded as the sign of Allah in the Muslim mind. It is the core symbol to know the existence of Allah. Al Quran says it Aayah for the mankind with the mention of several verses in itself. Such as: "And Allah sends down water from the sky and gives life to the earth after its death.
