Parents, Children and Sex Education

             There is no one who knows when and what to teach our children about sex more than us. Because sex education is the most sensitive education in the children's lives, it should begin at home. Parents should be the primary instructors of sex education for their children. Home is the best place to talk to children about sex education for many reasons. .
             Parents like to teach their children about sex education in the way they believe and the culture they came from. There are many people in the United States from many cultures. These cultures have their own thoughts about sex. For example, Muslims don't trust anyone else to teach their children about sex because of their religion. Muslims believe that children cannot think about sex until they get married. They also teach their children that no one can see or touch their sexual parts of their bodies except their spouse. Other people might allow their children to have sex and might believe that they should teach their children sex education at a certain age. Although they allow their children to have sex at a certain age, they do not allow having kids until they get married. In other words, parents teach their children sex education by the place they had came from, but it is not by the place they live in. .
             Parents should teach their children about sex education to break any embarrassment between each other. Most mothers feel embarrassed to discuss any sex subjects with their children especially the males. When mothers start to talk to their children about it, they will solve that problem. If parents talk to their children about sex at an early age, they will break the embarrassment between each other. It also brings the confidence between each other. When children talk to their parents freely, they will be more controlled and trusted. Children will not feel any embarrassed when they have any sexual questions that they want to ask their parents about it.
