US Military and an Oath to God

            The United States army is one of the four army branches on the United States military. They serve as our eyes in the sky they help the ground forces and to provide special intelligence to our nation and its allies. The air force is comprised of male and female, females were not allowed to serve in the military until 1941.Since then they have been fighting alongside each other for decades. Know there is a new problem that is preventing people to serve with our military. This problem has started to become even bigger recently and will only grow until something is changed about it.That or there will be a few that will stand up for what they believe in and they will fight until they cannot fight anymore.
             The United States military AKA the United States air force is now stopping members from re enlisting to their branch. Members already enrolled in the air force will also not be allowed to reenlist. All of this is because of an oath that is taken by the spoiler once they enlist/reenlist to the military. All because of one word that is preventing and or stopping a person from joining. By other branches this phrase is overlooked and is not required but for the air force it is not an option. The atheist airman last month was denied his request to re-enlist because of his refusal to swear to God -- and he is now poised to take the military to court, his lawyer said. His court hearing has not yet be said but it will be followed.
             The ongoing debate will affect the sergeant deadline for re-enlisting expiring in November. Is he is not allowed to re-enlisting he will be forced to sue the government in a federal court. As stated earlier the other branches of the American military do not require the reference to God and make the phrase optional. This is the only branch that requires you to say this phrase. .
             I think this is appropriate to do and that they are right for what they are doing and should acknowledge it as well.
