Positive Karma and Success

Life is a precious gift given to every living person on the planet. It is meant to enjoy and discover new things in life. As a part of our lives, we are expected to meet the expectations imposed on us by the society. Those expectations could be being good members in the society, being successful in life and providing for one's family. Every man wants to meet those expectations. However, the society also wants us to achieve our goals in life through virtue, hard work and honesty. It does not matter what one achieves in life but how one achieves it. The society will explicitly disregard what the person has achieved if he has achieved his goals by dishonesty and by causing harm to others. .
In life, we come across many challenges. Some of them make us who we are while some tell us what we should be. Life is a journey and not a destination. It matters a lot of how we do things to achieve our destination. There will be struggle and there definitely will be bad days. Days that would never seem to end. Days which would go on and on and would keep hurting us till the end. Most of us actually would give up but the people who won't will be the ones to face the brighter side of the day. As human beings, our journeys in life make who we are. During this journey we do things that shape our personality. The way we struggle, work hard, enjoy the fruits of our achievements and still stay humble shape us as a person. Our journey defines us. It does not matter what our destination is but the journey to get us to our destination matters. If our actions and intentions in how to achieve one's goal are honest and right, one should let the flow of life carry him toward his success. In the book Tao Te Ching, we-wei is an important concept of Taoism. It means non-action or non-doing. We should let things happen by themselves in life. The goal of spiritual practice for the human being is the attainment of our goals through a purely natural way.
