The Unique Writing Process

I never had any motivation to write as a kid I was in different classes than most of my friends and I was a rebel when it came to writing. The engagement I had on writing really had to focus on what kind of engagement the teacher gave me. The more the teacher was engaged the more likely the more I would've been engaged. .
My twelfth grade research paper was on cybercrime and my writing process consisted for this paper included 3 things. My first step included going up to my room with a bag of chips, and look on my computer for background information for the topic. I would sit up there with either my TV or my stereo on because I always have to have more than one thing going on at once. I always had my phone at my side just in case one of my friends gave me an opportunity to delay my paper. This process probably didn't help out my cause for writing that much, it always gave me an opportunity to procrastinate. Wikipedia.com was my number one choice of looking up information. Most teachers were not too pleased about that and repeatedly told me that I can't use that website as a source, but I was too naive to know otherwise. .
My next step in my writing process was to go down to the library and look for a couple books that had to deal with the right topic. I would go there with good intent and really want to get stuff down but I was just way too lazy to do so. I always had thoughts going on in the back of my mind about what other fun activities I could be doing instead of being here, stuck writing this paper. Laziness was the main beneficiary of me not getting any prewriting or drafting down. I ended up coming home with nothing but a couple of books that looked good enough to get my mom off my back for a couple of hours. My mother was always hard on me when it came to schoolwork. She would be on my case about every little detail, and didn't let me go out with my friends until I was finished with my work.
