Lebron James - I'm Coming Home

The hardest things in life is saying goodbye to someone you love. The concept of goodbye is far greater than just, "I'll see you tomorrow." Goodbye, for the most part, is permanent. Once you say it you can't take it back. It is very important to make sure your goodbyes are phrased perfectly. To put the statement from above into context, LeBron James, the rhetor in this situation had to say his goodbye. Last summer he had to make one of the most complex, and compelling decisions of his life. He was torn between staying with his championship seeking team that went to back to back to back to back championships and won two of the four championships, the Miami Heat, and his home town, original team, and authentic fan base the Cleveland Cavaliers. LeBron James, after weeks and months of endless interviews, meetings and the media just spewing about whatever they wanted LeBron had come to his decision. He needed a way to deliver his message. He was the best player in the NBA and needed to be mature and do it with class. LeBron didn't want to lose his fan base, he loves them, especially the ones that were there for his first championship ever. LeBron James wrote an article in Sports Illustrated Magazine which shows that LeBron James, the rhetor, not only understands the impact of his decision, but also knows how to get the message to as many people as possible. LeBron James, through his article allowed his fans and fans of the NBA to hear his voice through a meaningful and heartfelt emotional text that people should respect and appreciate. .
As many people already know, since this article was written a while ago, LeBron chose to leave Miami to return back to Cleveland to continue his career. Many people argue today whether Lebron would have made the same decision if the Miami Heat were to win the championship series in 2014 against the San Antonio Spurts. Anyways, LeBron made his decision and put his decision into words for the world of basketball and the NBA to read.
