Michael Joseph Jackson

These two events were the funeral as well as the memorial. These are two very important events that should have major descriptions within this project. They both play a key role in how Michael Jackson was remembered and how his death was being handled by his closest friends and family. Watching the funeral was quite interesting. It was so elaborate and beautiful. The first detail of the event that really caught my eye was where the funeral was being held. From what I saw and the view that was ever so present, the funeral was at a cemetery. This cemetery was so beautiful that when I saw it I just said, "Wow." The grass was this beautiful bright green color which was made of this lush healthy grass. The tomb stones were strategically placed in a lovely sequence that just made the whole place look clean and luxurious. .
Not only was the cemetery itself very gorgeous but Michael's specific resting place was amazing. Where he was to be mourned was right on top of a hill looking over the whole land. There was a picture of Michael placed right beside the flowers and the extravagantly presented casket. This picture consisted of Michael when he was very young to the point where he still had his dark skin complexion with a yellow leather biker jacket as if he was in the music video "Beat It." In this funeral I saw many recognizable faces such as Mila Kunis with Macaulay Culkin and so many other faces that I did not really know. When I saw Mila and Macaulay at the funeral sitting all the way to the back in the corner I thought to myself why were they there. Maybe they knew Michael personally or were they just huge fans of his? That is something that was just really weird to me. The video then basically consisted of recordings on the people having conversations, signing the guest book, and so on. It was a very mournful time with everyone being dressed in black and quietly speaking to one another.
