Short Story - Love on the Turf

As I wake up early for my morning jog, I ran past the big stadium with its dim lights on. Shining on small parts of the field. I think to myself I can't wait to get to the next level. My excitement for this game is so astounding that I just can't help but to work hard daily to get the opportunity to go where I'm distant to go. Going out to that beautiful field that the have put there for us players isn't just a given. You have to work for it. I love working for everything I have got. As I look into the stands while I am on the field I picture people chanting my name and yelling with full happiness. The smile on my face was as big as an elephant. I was just standing there preparing for my workout I was going to do on the field. All alone like a boy in his room full of imagination. I just love being on the field with my players or without, I would bring the same amount of energy to my personal workouts like I would on game nights. Imagine with me that your on the field spending every moment getting better and having so much motivation that nothing can stop you on your mind clearing, get away, personal field. .
It all started in the locker room. When I was in 8th grade I was getting ready for a new challenge. High school football, this was what I have been working hard and studying for. As I came into the locker room for the first time the whole football team was in there chanting and yelling. Also, frees styling to a funky beat. The first thing that shocked me was the bitter sweaty smell that crawled up my nose like a bug. Its was a horrific smell and the scenery was an old fashion looking locker room. Sort of a worn down in certain parts like the lockers were green and the paint was half way pilling off with rusty joints and hooks. And two long wooden benches on both sides of the locker room that didn't have splinters every where like most people would imagine. The doors were all gray and had mushed hand prints on one spot of the door like everyone use that spot to open it every time.
