Sometimes, lie is challenging us we are facing challenges, we've been through ups and downs, isn't it helping us to be stronger faith with God. In times of troubles God is the only weapon that we can use in defeating those troubles. By reading the verse Mark 10:17-26 the word that strikes and got my attention was the words "come and follow me" for the reason it encourage me to always do the right thing, as we follow him we would live a life that is full of contentment. God is always waiting there waiting for us. Moreover, we follow him because we are sure that nobody will harm us, as long as we have faith and trust in him troubles and despair will never be on our side. By following and having faith in him, he will surely lead us to the right path that we should go in to. God will never leave us in the times that we experience some obstacles in our life. He is always there to guide and tell some advice in the way of being silent and by praying to him. It helps me realize many things, such as being wealthy person will not help us in entering God's kingdom. .
You need not to be wealthy in entering God's because in the eyes of God all of us are equal and fair. We don't need to be a rich person because in the kingdom of God all of us are richer in God's loving. In this story, I've got a feeling of sadness because the rich man chose to keep his money than followed what Jesus told him to do, that he should give away his riches to the needy and poor and learn to carry his cross. That the rich man choose to be rich than to enter the kingdom of God. I met God in every realities of life, in every situation especially in my life. When I'm in trouble, when I have problems, I always seek God's help and ask for His guidance and forgiveness in every sin that I made and when I pray to him I know that he is there and listen to my prayer even can't see him. God is telling me that in order for me to have an eternal life and live in God's kingdom, I have to do the right thing, what is God want me to be and to do.
