Though they weren't the only ones who lost it all, my step father was putting in $20's and $50's into the slot machines, even $100's. He was truly pushing his luck, after spending a great amount of money he had to gotten into an argument with my mother and also blamed the machines. He's not a man who's gambled before and for his first time ever he was not able to stop. I am not alone, there are many others who has gone through my situation and worse. Some have lost even their life savings into gambling. .
             The owner of the slot machines have programmed the winning percentage to set about 20%. Legitimately speaking every time a dollar is inserted into the machine there is an 80% of that dollar that will be lost. So why is gambling often described as a simple form of entertainment, thus it has become an uncontrollable behavior to many people. Gambling as a behavior it can cause disruptions in all areas of life much more like psychological, social and physical. In comparison between drug or alcohol addiction and gambling it has a similar element of addiction as controlling the impulse. As someone who is addicted to gambling will slowly lose control over their impulse to gamble and may become emotionally caught up in the need for excitement. .
             The vulnerability of divest programs, as by the third parties they have involved the movement of a great scale amount of money crossing borders and through many casinos. Those who rely on the junket operators, would normally rely on them to move their funding's to and from the casino. The identities of the players and the ownership of the money, have faced layers of ambiguity around their sources. The junket operator will go through difficulties as to complicit in laundering money activity by the gamblers or blending illicit funds solicited by criminals with the pool of legitimate funds.
