By restricting the level of free speech in a society, the balance between different groups can be corrupted. In accordance with [ CITATION Ric06 l 1055 ], any kind of controversy about sexual issues are always suppressed by the religious leaders from several faith groups, but whenever someone makes a commentary about religion, it draws the attention of all different groups which persist that criticism is wrong. Hence, it is evident that religious leaders attempt to manipulate people by using the obscurity of the religion.
There are similar opinions that blasphemous speech provokes violence[ CITATION Pau12 l 1055 ]. In the past decades, in which blasphemous movements led to threats of violence such as the publication of Salman Rushdie's novel The Satanic Verses and the Danish newspaper's cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad. In those cases, freedom of speech has caused arguments and violence in different religious groups [ CITATION Ary12 l 1055 ]. Despite the fact that blasphemy creates conflicts, it is not defamation. The meaning of blasphemy slightly ranges to the Christianity and to the Islam. The line between morality and manner is constituted by the public restriction in Islamic societies. Therefore blasphemy is a subject, which leads a conflict between the West and the East[ CITATION Tal09 l 1055 ]. Criticism is a subjective choice and it differentiates to the receivers of a type of speech. Except that if the person does not take it seriously and without the framework of respect, reactions can be hurtful[ CITATION Ric06 l 1055 ]. However by acting violently, Muslim people are giving a loaded gun to the critics[ CITATION Has11 l 1055 ]. .
The existence of blasphemy laws is open to interpretation. As an example, the United Kingdom strayed the blasphemy law from its constitution [ CITATION Bec08 l 1055 ]. Restating blasphemy laws is a backwards step to take. The first and evident difficulty with such a law is that people would be obliged to express what religion is.
