Characters in Crime and Punishment

We know that this first image of Rodia is incorrect because we know that some time ago was a law student.
Curious to see the transformation of the thoughts of Rodia. First we can see that is fully convinced that what he did is for the good of many. Gradually this conviction fades until it reaches a point where Rodia is considered as a dead, "he thought he had just cut the last tie that still bound him to the world of the living." (Dostoevsky: 126). When there is no way to convince himself that what he did was wrong and even he realizes that was a mistake, Rodia begins to forget that there is still a life around. Our main character thinks it does not matter what you do, there will be no future for him. It is up to Sonia arrives, that this view will change but until we find a man who is not in body and soul in reality. Your body is there but his thoughts are locked in your mind and tortured constantly. At one point in the second part, it takes you to sign a receipt to obtain money his mother had sent him during this time, we forget the thoughts of Raskolnikov. The author takes us away momentarily from him, not let us see what happens in his mind, only it allows us to see his actions. Perhaps this is because in this way we want to show Dostoevsky as the other characters see the behavior of Raskolnikov. Rodia know that lives in a complete paranoia since the crime was but this paranoia seems to increase when he fell ill. We know that during this stage suffers from delusions and unfortunately for him, he awakes he knows he could have said things that would hurt so the state of paranoia in which he lives is greater.
A momentous event in the life of Raskolnikov is the death of Marmeladov. Rodia witnesses the death of someone who might consider his friend even though we know that friendship is rather recent. Right now we can see how even though Rodia is a murderer, within the no feelings of kindness.
