The Destination and the Journey


            In life there are many question that just can't be answered. One of the many hard questions is if the journey is more important than the destination. Some say that it is the destination that gives meaning to the journey. The Journey has more meaning because it's where all the hard work happens, you are living life during the journey and your different journeys are you cherished memories. And as one goes through life and you grow older, you realize that the journey was important and not the destination. .
             If you are someone who was born in the United States you realize at a young age that your education is a long journey. It is a journey full of experiences, challenges and accomplishments. And after you have made it through elementary, middle and high school you can look back and remember that it was not we expected and certainly not easy. As we progresses down the road of life sometimes we have to stretch ourselves to reach across barriers and find ourselves in new and expanding roles. Occasional were given the opportunity to explore our interests and discover what really and excites us. Because of your journey you become a more independent and complete individuals. Your growth and self-discovery during your journey has placed you whatever you might be.
             Sometimes in life we stand at a crossroad where each one of us will take a new direction in our life's journey. Walt Whitman said "Not I - not anyone else can travel that road for you. You must travel it for yourself." Where you end up isn't the most important decision, but instead it is the road you choose to take to get there. The road you take is what you will look back on and call our life. Life is a journey of everyday experiences, teaching us who we really are. It's important to remember that happiness is to be found along the way, not at the end of the road, for then the journey is over and it is too late.
             Some people say that it is the destination that gives meaning to the journey.
