Indonesia is the fourth most populated country in the world and by 2014 was estimated to have 252,812,245 people. Indonesia's population is equal to 3.49% of the total world population. The population density in Indonesia is 133 people per square meter of land. .

Indonesia's form of government is a republic with a presidential system and elected legislature. The current president of Indonesia is Joko Widodo. Indonesia is a unitary state, meaning that power is concentrated in the central government. .
2 Economic StatusĀ.
2.1 Status of the Economy in Terms of Agriculture, Manufacturing Industry, Wholesale Trade, Retail Trade, Restaurants and Hotels, and Community, Social and Personal Services.
Indonesia's agricultural sector is vast and abundant and as of 2014, employed 40.8% of the country's labor force, around 49million people, which is a 2.4% growth change from 2013. The most important agricultural products of Indonesia are palm oil, rubber, cocoa, coffee, tea, cassava, rice and other tropical spices. However, even with the majority of Indonesians working in this sector, Indonesia's the agriculture sector only makes up 15% of the GDP. Indonesia's manufacturing industry encompasses many facets as well, however, it is mostly focused on the mining and manufacturing of coal, oil, gold, automobiles and electronics. Only about 15.4% of Indonesia's labor force is in this sector, but it makes up the largest portion of Indonesia's GDP, about 47%.
The third portion that makes up Indonesia's GDP is services, and includes two portions: wholesale trade, retail trade, restaurants and hotels, of which 25.8% of Indonesia's labor force is employed, and community, social and personal services of which 18.5% of Indonesia's labor force is employed. Both these sub-sectors combined contributes 38% of Indonesia's GDP.

Indonesia currently holds the 18th largest economy in the world, and is one of the emerging markets in Asia.
