Global Business Cultural Analysis

This paper gives an opportunity to take a deeper look into a Global Business Cultural Analysis of the nation of Ireland. In writing this paper, there are four main areas and questions were that were researched: The major elements and dimensions of culture in Ireland and how these elements and dimensions are integrated by locals conducting business in the Ireland, a comparison of culture and business of Ireland and the United States, and lastly implications for US businesses that wish to conduct business in Ireland.
             Introduction.
Ireland is the third largest island in Europe and the twentieth largest in the world. Ireland is situated in the Atlantic Ocean and separated from Great Britain by the Irish Sea. The Irish are the citizens living on the Island of Ireland. Their culture is not that big as many people believe. This is due to the prominent disagreements that are there among city and country people, between the Roman Catholics and the Protestants and also disagreements among the English Speakers and Irish Speakers. This rift has gone ahead to even have an effect on the new migrants and the national population (Mitchell, 1998). .
With so many disagreements, the Irish culture is certain not to be monumental, though it is important to as far as worldwide levels. The Irish banking sector, like so many around the world, came under extreme pressure in 2007 and 2008 following the fall down of the construction industry and an end to Ireland's property growth. Consequently, it was revealed that many of Ireland's financial institutions were highly under-capitalized and needed the government to come to their rescue to survive. The government set up temporary guarantees to personal depositors in 2008 to make sure that deposits remained in Ireland and has so far continued these guarantees. This paper will talk about Ireland's culture and how they are integrated by citizens doing business. It will also discuss the United States and conducting business with them and the implications of doing business in Ireland.
