As teenagers get older in their upper teens they will be dealing with bigger disobedience issues with more consequences and run-ins with the law. If the law states that the legal drinking age is twenty-one. You will still find a lot of people drinking that are under twenty-one, mostly high school and college kids. In other countries the legal drinking age is eighteen. There drinking is not such a big of deal for someone that is eighteen and they drink more responsibly that someone in the United States that is eighteen. In Utah there is a law that states that kegs are illegal within this state, but you can find a party with a keg on any given weekend. Now lets take a State like California where kegs are legal. You go there and you will probably see a party with a keg once every few months. If you tell people they can"t do or have something they are going to have an urge to do it, it's in our human nature to disobey.
If you disobey you are going to find yourself in instances when you get stuck with the consequences and are forced to obey. For example, say that you are speeding in your car and you are pulled over by the police and given a ticket for speeding. You are told that you will need to appear in court to fight the ticket or pay the speeding fine. So you think that if you throw out some story and the judge that the judge will understand and wave the ticket. You get to court and plead the judge your case and tell the judge why you think you should have the ticket taken off. But, the judge has heard the same excuses all day and doesn"t agree with you and makes you pay the fine. You started out disobeying by speeding, then you thought you would disobey again by trying to fight the ticket, then you were forced to obey cause the judge orders you to pay the fine anyway.
Now lets take this into the workplace. When you go to work and your boss wants something done then you do it. But, lets say that you have something else you need to do and he or she isn"t going to know if you did it or not.
