How Safe is Digital Business

             As with all types of businesses, safety and security measures must be taken to ensure the business is successful. Even if security is slightly breached, this could mean a change in the company from being a highly respected and prosperous company, to a company who is bankrupt.
             In particular, this report will focus on the relationship between safety regulations and digital business. It will try and determine whether or not security is up to standards by exploring the modern safety issues which digital business relates to; and also examine the types of measures taken to fight computer crime.
             METHODOLOGY.

             The methodology used in the report involved carrying out a review of literature published over the past 5 years. Many useful books which were found, delved with the topic of computers', e-commerce' and computer crime' which contained much relevance to this report. A range of journals and articles from the Daily Telegraph ®' also provided interesting reading material with plenty of suitability. In addition, a few Internet sites were also examined to provide some first hand information on Digital Business.
             MAIN FINDINGS.
             Ever since the 1980's, computerisation has helped Digital Business arise; they have given many companies the opportunity to consolidate their operations in order to achieve the best possible competitive edge.
