My View on Child Abuse

Children are born into this world totally depended on their parents for their survival. Parents are expected to provide unlimited care, protection, and emotional support to their children. Although there are numerous awards naturally in parenting; a child can never be expected to fulfill their parents" personal needs for food, clothing, shelter, or sex. Whenever a parent denies their child the right to remain a child by forcing them to act as a partner, then the child becomes a victim of sexual abuse. Sexual encounters between parents and children always involve force on some level. When this happens the protective bond is broken. It does not matter whether the actual sexual intercourse is pleasurable or brutal; the effect on the child's normal emotional and sexual development is always destructive.
Sexual abuse of a child is very appalling. I don't see how anyone can excuse the act of sexually molesting a young girl or boy who is stilling learning about their surroundings and environment. Behaviors like this can traumatize the child dramatically. Sexual abuse can interfere with the child's attitudes toward their self, sexuality, and trusting relationships. Some children may even think "something is wrong with me" and the abuse was their fault. Several may feel different from peers, hide resentful and angry feelings toward both parents, and feel they bring disloyalty and disruption to the family. A child that has been sexually abused lives a life of fear, anxiety, and depression. It completely destroys a child's self-esteem. Abuse can even lead some to be alcoholics and drug addicts. .
In this day and age there are many Sexual Transmitted Diseases. Forcing intercourse upon a young child can lead to the transfer of AIDS-HIV or other STDs. This person has completely ruined this child's life. The STD will always be there reminding them of their tragic experience. They will have to be extremely careful not to pass it to their sex partner.
