Black Nell

The beginning of Black Nell Is when Nell was born. Her mother resembled a petite wolf or a German Shepherd. Nell was born in a liter of five. All the pups had gray fur. Nell was the unique one out of the liter, her fur was Black. One day two teenagers were shooting cans with a .22 rifle. The boys got bored and spotted a woodchuck, but as soon as it saw the boys it bolted in to its hole. The teenagers hid in a ditch and waited for its head to pop up so hey could shoot it. Before long they spotted something. It was nell's father returning to the din. One of the boys grabbed the rifle put it over his shoulder and fired. Not aiming right he just shot a clod of dirt in to the air. They scanned the area for blood no trace, but as soon as Nells father herd the crack of the rifle he disappeared when they found the din they covered it with a tree that had fallen down so they could kill the coyote later. Earlier while the boys were there the mom was angered by their introchen. After they had left Nells mom made sure it was safe. Once the father got home one by one they caried the pups to an emergency din that use to belong to a family of porcupines.
The middle of the story was shocking and sad. One part of the middle was when Nell and her brother Thor were hunting and there was a raccoon stuck in a bear trap they watched it try to escape. It tried but it didn't work. Just then they heard the sound of a coming motor they quickly retreated to a grove of cheder trees. They watched a man with heavy clothes an an orange hat climb out of the vehicle and go over to the raccoon with a thick hardwood stick the man brought down the club over the animals head. Getting closer he waked the animal three more times on the head until he was sure it was dead. He released the animal and threw it in the back of his truck. The two coyotes bolted from their hiding spots. The hunter only caught a glimpse at Thor.
