Censoring the Internet

            
             Do you think the Internet should be censored? It is so easy to get into bad things on the Internet that even a child could do it. Most parents would want the Internet to be censored if they saw how easy it was to get into trouble. Pornography, gambling, and chat rooms are some things that should be censored on the Internet.
             Almost all people in the United States have access to the Internet. One of the biggest problems the Internet causes are the web sites that show pornography. The Internet should not be allowed to provide such easy access for children to get on pornography sites. They should make it easy for anybody with the Internet to censor pornography to prevent a child from seeing some of the dirty stuff that web sites show. What a child could see on the Internet could corrupt their mind and turn them into a freak. Children may think it's ok to exploit their body parts after seeing an example of it from the Internet. .
             Some of the older people that have seen porn have gotten addicted to it and it has ruined their lives. Now you can definitely see how censoring the Internets pornography web sites could prevent these bad things that could happen.
             Gambling is illegal in many states so if possible gambling should be censored from those areas. It is a bad habit that nobody should have access to. Censoring gambling will help stop young people from throwing their money away and ruining their lives. I learned that gambling is a habit that is difficult to get away from by watching my Uncle gamble. Our family tried to get him to stop but it didn't work and eventually his wife divorced him because of it. If gambling was censored from the Internet then maybe some of these situations could be prevented. .
             In most cases in chat rooms you are talking to your friends talking about normal stuff. Sometimes you will get people that will type in profanity or say some nasty things. There are chat rooms that won't allow you to type out profanity but there are still many that don't.
