Every since I was little I knew I would go to college. My parents started instilling this in me at a young age by telling me to get a good education. They would check my homework every night; they would make up practice quizzes for me just to keep my grades up. I was young then, and didn't know why grades mattered to me they were just letters. For me, it all came together about the end of my freshman year when I understood what and why I had to do so good. .
After my realization of the true meaning of school, which was to make a good life for yourself in the end, I began to try to figure out what and where I wanted to go in my life. This journey began with me talking to different professionals and seeing what they actually do on a day to day basis, seeing what kind of school they needed, and seeing the overall atmosphere of there job. .
At the start of my search I knew that I wanted to do something with medicine because I was good in science and I liked doing it, but on the flip side the idea of seeing dismemberment in an ER made my stomach turn over. So I looked to other forms of medical types, I first thought of being a sports trainer, but to honest with you they don't make a whole lot of money and I felt I would be selling myself short. Yet, I this same path was a Physical Therapist I began looking into this profession further and even took an introductory class at my school. I talked to numerous teachers about this job and found that it didn't sound half bad. I had found something that not only was I remotely interested in but sounded like it fit me like a coat.
After I had found a career that looked interesting I needed to find a college to fill my needs. I looked and searched far and wide, when one day my junior year one of my teachers, Mrs. gooy, at the vocational center mentioned a school named Belmont University. The way she talked it seemed to be perfect. I began researching Belmont on the Internet and sending off for brochures.
