Computer animation is one of the most used tools in entertainment .
            
 Using computers to make fictional situations sound, look, and act .
            
real interests people today. A lot of experience and studying is done by .
            
the artists creating these films that people enjoy. The idea of creating .
            
something from your imagination and animating it so other people can .
            
see and experience your thoughts is truly amazing. I personally am not a .
            
good drawer, and I am horrible at painting. Using a computer and .
            
designing things for me is a lot easier because all the measurements are .
            
exact and you can always erase with having erasure marks. Anyone can .
            
be a computer animation artist, all you need is the curiosity and desire to .
            
learn.  Learning vocabulary and remembering all the different functions of .
            
the programs used to make the animations is the hardest part. .
            
	Computer animation started mostly from the maturing of video .
            
games. Sony is a good example. When they brought the Playstation out .
            
the game play was 3d, but the images were kind of square. Games that .
            
had story lines often had things called "cutscenes". This is where the story .
            
plays itself for a little while and you get to sit back and enjoy the high-.
            
resolution full motion computer animation. After computer animation .
            
matured a little bit more, and textures of objects looked more realistic, .
            
movies started to incorporate 3d animation scenes for some of the intense .
            
explosion scenes and space scenes. Now most movies have at least one .
            
minute of full motion animation. The new Star Wars movie is mostly .
            
computer generated and the movie, A Bugs Life, is all computer .
            
animation. In the future movies might be like cartoons in the sense that .
            
maybe even the actors and actresses themselves will be computer .
            
generated, and maybe even further in the future their dialogue will be as .
            
well. .
            
	The programs that are used widespread for computer animation .
            
artists are 3d Studio Max, Lifeforms, Poser, Lightwave and Bryce 3d.
