A family is people who care, love, and take care of each other and support each other in everything. Even though there may be contradictions in a family. The fact will not change that a family is forever. A family is there for many reasons, however, the father is the most looked up to in the family. As in the book Death of a Salesman, everyone looks to Willy Loman for guidance. He may not be the ideal husband or father, but at least he is always there. Willy Loman represents a lower class man trying to get ahead of where society tells him he should be. However, he works every day of his life for the American dream, which is to succeed. Willy being just like all sons wants to go further than his father did or be on the level of his father. Mr. Loman has worked the last fifteen years just to pay off and own his house. Also, he has works to give his family whatever they need and want for the most part. Willy Loman is a great provider when it comes to providing security for his family.
