Romeo and Juliet: Infatuation

An element of infatuation is lust, which is commonly thought of as intensive, excessive, or unrestrained sexual desire, or an intense eagerness or enthusiasm to have an intense or obsessive sexual desire. These days it is very easy to get confused between love and infatuation. There are minute, significant differences between these two aspects. .
When choosing that perfect someone, it is important to distinguish whether each of you would classify the relationship between one another as love or infatuation. For example, a couple that has been happily married for fifty years, knows everything about each other, because they have a better understanding of true love for one another compared to a couple that has been married for a short time and are still learning about each other's wants and needs. If you are in love with your mate, you know almost everything about them as in what there dislikes and likes are, also you and your mate are interested in more then satisfying your sexual wants and needs. If the only time you are happy or satisfied in your current relationship is when you are satisfying each other's sexual needs; therefore you are most likely just lustful. If you and your spouse's idea of having a good time does not consist of going on dates or participating in other activities than staying in the confines of your own home, this is most certainly a sign that you are not in love.
Another aspect of infatuation is the tendency to believe that your partner is perfect and could do nothing wrong. For example, in the movie Romeo and Juliet, Romeo is infatuated with Juliet. Romeo does not take the time to get to know Juliet, but in his eyes she still is perfect in every way and will do anything to be with her. Also, infatuation tends to make a person nave to the obvious. For example, if you know for a fact that your wife is cheating on you, and when confronting her yet she constantly tells you she is not cheating therefore this is absurd and nave.
