Mary Shelly

            Rebirth of (Mary Shelley's) Frankenstein.

Frankenstein is a name that has been twisted and manipulated by Hollywood, and then sculpted into our minds. We, as children, and as a whole in society once believed that Frankenstein was this huge, green monster with bolts out of his neck walking around like a zombie, and we were forgotten to be told that this is far from the reality of the truth. .
Mary Shelley's Frankenstein was the original in this twisted tale, and forever will remain the only person valuable enough to hold that title. Frankenstein was created and recreated many times over, from Abbot and Costello to cartoon movies and shows, although the only actual person who even attempted to convey an offset parallel to the true version was Kenneth Branagh, and to be honest even Branagh failed horribly!.
Frankenstein is a tale about a man (Victor Frankenstein) and his devotion to science and mankind. He dreams of one day being able to enhance the nature of man, thus creating a being of great stature and pain tolerance. By creating this being he unplugs himself from his love, Elizabeth and family in Sweden. Horrified by his creation his abandons him, and the creature (whom was played by Robert DeNiro) faced the world and learn how to hate and love, and wants to find his master.
Kenneth Branagh tried to recreate this magnificent book of much simplicity and do with it as he had done with Hamlet and The Tempest.
