War movies

Movies have always played a major role in our lives. Up until All quiet on the western Front movies showed me that most people that go to war turn out okay and lead happy and normal lives. But this conclusion was proven wrong very easily. I am not sure what showed me the horrific psychologically problem that soldiers face after the war, whether it be the book, or the movie Rambo. Which is about an amazing soldier that the government forgot about with serious problems. However I know that it's not all fun and games. Many movies today show us today the opposite how soldiers can lead a normal and happy life after a war.
The first movie that I chose is "Three Kings" which stars George Kluny and Ice Cube. The film begins at the end of the America vs. Iraq war. These soldiers decide that they want to go after the Gold that Saddam Hussein stole from Kuwait, since there was a clause in the agreement after the war that all that was stolen was going to be returned. The catch is that they were going to keep it for themselves without informing the American government. While they are looking for the gold they view terrible instances that Iraqi regime is terrorizing it's citizens. For instance they viewed a mother be killed in front of her child because she would not stop screaming for help from the American soldiers. So the soldiers decide to make this operation two fold, one to help this citizens to escape into a refugee camp in Iran, and two through the help of the people hide the gold somewhere so when they come back they can find it. As they are about to cross the citizens into Iran, a storm of American airplanes stop them and put them under arrest because they left the base without permission and they had no right to cross them over to Iran. As a sign of great heroism and unselfishness they decide they reveal to the American army where they placed the gold of Kuwait in exchange for help the Iraqis cross over into Iran.
