Important Characteristics of my Values

             When a person is born from the world, they come out having values of their own that shape the existence of their life. Sometimes theses value also comes as one person grows and adapts to the society. Then there are other times where people learn their own values by the experiences and achievements. When I think about my values and how it had affected my life as a whole. It has been a series of mystery because I have a lot of values that I believe had a big part in my life. Yet, the three values that I value the most is my pride, determination, and self-consciousness. These three is one of the important effects in my life because it had helped me become where I stand today. It does not just affect me but it is also apart of my own mind and personality. That is why I believe that pride, determination, and self-consciousness is one of the most important values to me. .
             Pride is one of the most important values that everyone has. There are times where people have excessive amount pride that leads them blind of their own self. Some people are balanced in their own level of pride and self-consciousness. There are some people who don't have much pride in themselves so they give up on their life. I believe my pride as being leveled and balanced. Although, pride can overwhelm people from seeing their faults, pride helps people to have confidence in themselves and to be able to believe in themselves. I believe that pride helps me accomplish many challenges that I faced. I remember, when I first entered to second year of high school. I was pretty scared and unconfident in myself to be able to pass the class with a good grade. Once I have been in these classes for a while, I began to realize that I can do this and eventually passed the class. Pride is not only tool for academics achievements but also cultural diversity of my own nationality. When I was around sixth or seventh grade, I really thought my nationality was a curse to me because I had a hard time fitting in with the crows.
