My "Challenging" Life During College

I think it's safe to say that everyone has a challenging life in college, in one way or another or maybe many ways. I started college immediately after high school at the age of eighteen, plunging head first into challenges, with fifteen and a half credits in my first semester, and presently nineteen and a half in my second semester, and a whole world of responsibility. Challenges are good for a person to learn, but sometimes they can be very stressful. The hardest part is juggling everything while dealing with all of the tension. My personal flaws are certainly not easy to cope with. I have a really bad memory and sometimes I am a procrastinator which are not traits that are beneficial me in any way. Another challenge is to maintain a social life and still do the things that I enjoy, such as spending time with my boyfriend Matt. I like to go and hang out with my friends, but it's hard to know when I can afford to. I also enjoy being with my family on the weekends, especially getting to see my nieces Ariel and Ashley. It is always hard to get time where everyone is available. But, sometimes I have to sacrifice more of my time than I had hoped to do homework. Another time consumer is working got to have a job to pay the bills. My financial standing is not the best, so those things worry me sometimes. The hardest thing about going to college is trying to do well, by working hard on all of the homework, studying, tests and papers. Trying my best that I can do on these is the number one thing that matters in your work. Some times these challenges make me want to give up and not try as hard anymore, but when I have my all to put in it, it usually pays off.
Study time can be hard to come by. Between school, work and the forty-five minute trip each way, from Putnam to Norwich and back, by the time I get home in the evening, it's hard to fit everything in. Often times I find it hard to concentrate and get motivated to do my homework.
