The female image in paradise lost

Yes Adam and ever are two parts of a whole. Whatever is evil in Eve contaminates him as well. Therefore they are both equally culpable for the sin. It is he weakness of ever which the Satan picks up on and Milton chooses to exploit. .
             Adam is created on the 6th day by G-d. In order for Eve to be created something has to be taken away from Adam. Eve was fashioned from Adam's rib. Eve has already damaged Adam and this foreshadows the damage that she will do later. Eve by the nature that she was created is submissive to Adam. The poem frequently illustrates Eve's feelings of inequality. Eve feels as though she is an after though. This sets her up to be weak in will and in power. Satan Knows that Eve is more vulnerable than Adam and for that reason directs his attention towards her. Satan as a result of this entices Eve to eat from the Tree of Knowledge. Eve as said before has detracted something from Adam in her creation process. Adam harms no one Eve harms Adam. Later Eve succumbs to temptation of Evil and then again harms Adam by convincing him to give in to temptation as well. .
             Sin is born from Satan's head at the moment her rebels against heavenly authority. Sin's head is beautiful but her bottom half is disgusting. She is described as "woman to the waist and fair." This shows that woman deep down are disgusting. The part of sin that is so horrible includes her sexual organs, the very core of her sexuality. Satan's fall come as a result of excessive pride that he should be as powerful as G-d. Although Sin is described as beautiful from the waist up feminine beauty it assumes a negative connotation in Paradise Lost. Today natural beauty is admired and wanted by all however her it serves only to mask the evil that exists with in women. .
             As the only females in the poem Sin and Eve are both characterized as evil in nature. Sin's appearance in allegorical to Eve's nature. She may seems beautiful but deep down inside she is evil.
