These two speak of Abraham as the father of the Jewish religion and both state the same ideas of the covenant went Abraham. Another reason is how the many books and stories relate to each other. They relate so well that most of them have a resemblance in the way they talk about the adventures and life of Abraham and his people. One last reason is the many religions such as Christianity, Muslim and Jewish all speak of Abraham as the father of their people and/or the creator of monotheism. Abraham once existed as shown by all of these examples and stories. .
The many religious writings such as the Bible, the Torah and the Genesis all mention Abraham as a prophet and their stories relate for the following reasons. The Bible states that Abraham has a covenant with God. In the Torah and Genesis they both state this major turning point in his life. These books also tell of his journey to Canaan with his wife and nephew. The books state this as if it really happened and some evidence is shown from the many alters made by Abraham, which are stated in these books. One last reason these books relate is their story of his sacrifice to God. He was told to sacrifice his son, Isaac, by burning him, but at the last minute he was told his very first son, Ishmael, had made the sacrifice already. From all of these reasons it concludes that all of these books show that he once existed. .
