Friendship

For the past few years I have relied on one great friend to get me through some of the toughest times and to enjoy the best of times. We have shared so many great times and have the fondest memories to talk about for years. We have so many funny stories to tell our children and so many inside jokes to keep them guessing. We both have our separate lives that keep us busy but we are still able to find time here and there to at least talk or get away for a few hours. She has been very instrumental in helping me through this tough time and I will never be able to thank her enough for what she has done. .
Karen is a beautiful young woman in many ways. She is considerably taller than I am; she has red hair, a curvy, womanly figure, and a sense for fashion that is out of this world. She is always the best dressed and unfortunately her height and her curves cause problems if I would want to borrow her clothes. However, we manage to help each other out when we go out on the town. She has always been insecure about her looks and I am always the first person to tell her otherwise. She is a gorgeous girl in her own way and should never measure herself with how many men approach her. Many men are fools. Those are usually the words of wisdom I share with her when her insecure moments strike. Along with her style and looks, she has a wonderful personality. Our personalities are so similar that it always makes for a great night out. She laughs at almost everything, she is generally a very happy person, she knows how to keep a secret, and she can tell when I just need someone to listen. The best thing about her personality is the simple thing I call, sarcasm. We are both so extremely sarcastic, that our nights out make for some great fun. We are able to laugh and make snide remarks and only we will understand that true meaning behind our words. It's great knowing that no matter what I say; she will always take it as a joke.
