Dogs

At some point in our lives, just about all of us decide to get a dog. The At some point in our lives, just about all of us decide to get a dog. The questions come up: What kind of dog would make a good pet for me? What do I really want a dog for, protection or companionship? Although the argument can be made that a Shepard-mix dog is a good pet, the little Chihuahua is better because they require less maintenance, have fewer liabilities and are better companions.
A Chihuahua is a very small little dog. For this reason, they are easier to take care of. There is less maintenance on a Chihuahua. A small dog does not eat very much food. These dogs only eat about a half a cup of food a day. When a Chihuahua does go to the bathroom, their droppings are small. The size of a Chihuahua makes it much easier to bathe. A little pet can be handled with one hand. On the other hand, to take care of a big dog, like a Shepard-mix, requires more food. A big dog can eat about two to three cups of food a day. Then, when a big dog goes to the bathroom, there is a big pile to clean up. At bath time, be prepared for the bather to take a bath. That is what will happen when the bather is done giving the large dog a bath. The bather will be just as wet as the bathee. Even though there are differences, there are some things that are the same. There is the cost of the veterinarian bill. It doesn't matter the size of the dog. The office bill is the same. In addition, both dogs need exercise and grooming.
There are fewer liabilities in a small dog. Chihuahuas are known to be "ankle- bitters", they don't bite hard, they just nip a little. One has a lower risk of any kind of property damage with a little Chihuahua. There would be fewer chances that an owner would have to get liability insurance. However, if one has a Shepard- mix, the bite could be much more damaging. If a big dog bites a person, the person would feel it and chances is he or she might have to get stitches.
