Conservative or Liberal?

             I believe this is true because many of my ideals are in compliance with conservative beliefs and views. I believe that I got my views from my parents. My father is a very conservative person. I've never actually though about whether I was conservative or liberal until this assignment. So I feel that Mr. Arnold has influenced me greatly on my decision.
             My views about federal programs are that they should not exist. Food stamps should have never been invented. I feel that it is unfair to those people that work hard to make a living, because people can get food and other products by not doing anything. That's just plain laziness. Social Security is supposed to help with saving money but you never see most of that money. Income taxes are not necessarily a bad thing, it's actually a good idea, but when they become to high it becomes ridiculous. .
             My feelings towards things such as censorship of movies, reading material, and music are that we should not have to deal with it. I believe that human needs should be met by families, not the government.
             I feel very strongly about supporting religious right. I feel that prayer should be a huge part of our lives everyday. I also think that gay marriages should not be accepted. That is morally wrong and I don't want my kids growing up in a world like that. .
             Another huge subject that everybody goes hysterical about is abortion. My views on abortion aren't of the typical conservative. I believe that it is up to the mother whether or not she has an abortion. She should be able to make that decision and not the government. .
             I feel that I am conservative and I"m not going to change no matter what happens. This assignment has helped me realize what side of the fence I am on. Without having to write this paper I would still be confused about conservative and liberal people. I would probably still be in the middle somewhere. .
