I try to be an example for everyone on the team. I have to go as hard as I can, all the time, so my team mates never question my work ethics. I am our wrestling team's captain.

After my first wrestling match ever, I decided I was going to become the best wrestler I could possibly become. I came to this conclusion after being unnecessarily beat and pounded by a better, stronger, more experienced wrestler from a rival school. The pain and embarrassment I felt after that match stuck with me, and gave me the drive and motivation to become better.

The fallowing practice I was a changed person. I was attentive, and hungry for knowledge on the subject of wrestling. I was no longer just going through the motions, but rather, was trying to execute each movement with a goal in mind, win! I knew, with practice, I would soon be on the giving end of an unnecessarily rough ass kicking of a match that was inevitably approaching with the next meet. .

That season, the hard work paid off and I wet on to have a winning season. I won the conference championship three years in a row in Jr. High and decided to make a career out of wrestling. Today I am a senior captain on the varsity wrestling team and currently hold every record desirable in the schools history. Because I developed good, hard, work ethics when I was young, I am now the example of what a good, hard working wrestler should be. Nothing makes me feel better than going out, shaking the opponent's hand, and then beating he crap out of them. God I love this sport!.
