Universal Health Care

A government-run health care system is definitely the reason why people are living longer . Canadians believe basic health care is a basic right and are committed to a Universal Health Care system. This system reduces health and safety risks. Health Canada advocates working for comprehensive, affordable and publicly accountable health care for all Canadians. Here in Canada, all one must do is show their Health Care card, and they will receive the best possible health-care that is available. Canada delivers a broad range of health-care professionals such as: family physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, dietitians, social workers and others that are all covered in Canada's Health Care system. Universal health-care is beneficial in our society because it's accessible, efficient and non-corporate.
Universal heath-care is equality of health-care services to all regardless of race color, creed or financial status. It is in opposition to private health-care which depends on the financial status of an individual.
Universal health-care delivers a wide range of services in a accessible, hassle free way, by using a health card registered specifically to each individual. This ensures that all residents have equal access to necessary healthcare on a prepaid basis. Canadians have access to top-notch services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Canada's health-care system is publicly-funded and universally accessible. This kind of primary health care has enormous benefits, such as better coordination with hospitals and home care, and more choice for Canadians.
Some people may argue with this point because many people are found abusing the system, and therefore are taking needed time from others. There are shortages for doctor's and specialists because of the demand of health care needs. There are many people who go to the doctor when they really don't need to, so there wasting time that could be open to the potentially sick.
