The Virtues of George W. Bush

There are a few ways that often times reporters and historians will use to identify individual presidents; These might include the words that he uses, conflicts that he experiences or gestures that he makes. Bush is not a very articulate man, that's not very hard to see, but what better way to judge a man -- especially an inarticulate man -- than by the decisions he makes? Bush's best thing "going for him" is his abillity to make decisions.
Bush's personallity traits play a large role in his decision making process. His most prominent traits are his humor and his seriousness. One can't really see Bush's funny side unless one are in more of a head-to-head environment with the man himself. There is a home-video documentary out there entitled Journeys with George, it is a documentary from the time of Bush's presidential campaign. In this video the audience really gets an inside look at Bush's humor and how he makes it work for him. Presidnets rely heavily on help from their aides, which is where Bush's humor can really come into play. Bush uses humor to get people to relax and lower their gaurd, that way they won't tell him a bunch of baloney, just the truth and not what they think he wants to hear.
Bush went to the Harvard Business School from 1973 to 1975, where he recieved training with how to make decisions in the business world, and he is the only modern president to have recieved such training. These days the White House is alot like a business with the CEO being the President. Underneath the CEO is his board of advisors with the people that head all of his different subsidaries, these people are the cabinet. The customers would have to be the American people.
Bush has many other good markers of a good decision maker including his thriftiness with time. Bush is always at meetings on time and doesn't like to let people waste his time once the meeting has started. Afterall, something one would probably learn at the Harvard Business School is the phrase "time is money".
