Cloning humans is unatural, and threatens the balance of nature. Cloning was stuff of science fiction, until the sheep named Dolly made the process frighteningly real. People now wish, and hope, to create a perfect human race and possibly bring back loved ones, create beings soley for the purpose of getting organs from their bodies, and to manipulate their reproduction. The previous reasons are simply unethical. We must seperate fact from fiction before we decide if cloning is miricale or madness. .
The proposterous idea of creating "super humans" or perfect beings as a fesult of cloning is ridiculous. It's like being Hitler and trying to create the perfect race. No one knows what these beings would be like if the technology is ever developed. For all anyone can tell if those beings are created, they could rome the earth being mindless drones. It's like humans trying to be God, and decide what types of humans get recreated and when. .
The thought of bringing backa loved one is a very provoking one, but is it realistic? Think about this, what would they be like? No one knows. It's most likely that they wouldn't be the same, because nature and nurture have a tremendous amount to do with a person's personality. For instance, if a scientist took Marylin Monroe's DNA and cloned her, she would not be the same Marylin Monroe in today's time. The clone would have to be born into the sameenvironment as Marylin to be the same, and it's virtually impossible to recreate the world Marylin Monroe was born into. Therefore, even though the thought is appealing it seems better to remember your loved one the way they were, instead of creating a Frankenstein version. What is a clone? An exact genetic blue print created in a laboratory. Looking at that fact, it sounds like a human clone would be more like a robot than an actual person. .
There's also the argument that human clones should be created for their body parts.
