Charging Freedom

Through out history our country has been in battle as soon as the pilgrims touched ground near Boston's Harbor. Our politics system is constantly been criticized by other nations about how we always solve problems by developing wars and coming out as heroes and then charging for the freedom that they provided to another nation. Some might ask, why the United States have to be involved in everything across the world? Well it just happens to that since we are the most powerful nation in the world we like to be recognized as such and what better way then to do it by using our military force. Thanks to the strength of our military we can feel secure about ourselves and our future, unfortunately this desire to serve our country has been diminishing up to the point where teenagers need to be reminded about registering for the draft when they turn eighteen! Teenagers don't feel the desire to serve their country no more and if they do it is to take advantage from their tuition programs. All citizens and residents must know what it takes to keep the most powerful nation in the world alive and free.
Possibly the biggest military spirit breakdown that our nation had was in the Vietnam Conflict where the soldiers were treated as killers and not defendants and warriors against communism. This breakdown was in the most part caused by disorganization of the government since they had forgotten that the people are the true rulers of our country. Of course there is no way to keep all the population happy but the government could very easily avoided so many casualties. Again some how our nation has gradually getting far from being controlled by the people rather than a guy sitting at a round office at the white house. By putting this policy to work we would give the feeling to all of our men and women that they have put their lives on the line to preserve the rights on which they grew up as well as their next generations will.
