             The problem with poverty is obviously a growing concern. Figures are rising and nothing is been done too stop them. Money is supposedly being spent, but you do start too worry where all the money donated is going. .
             Life expectancy is plummeting down in developing countries e.g. in 1990 the life expectancy for an Englishman or a woman was 78. For example Brazil or Sub-Sahara Africa the expectancy is only 65 years of age. This is a massive difference. .
             Facts such as 800,000,000 are malnourished, and 200,000,000 of that 800,000,000 are children. Another staggering figure involving children is that one child in ten dies before they reach their 5th birthday. A majority of those deaths are hunger related, totalling to 6,000,000 deaths every year.
             During the 1990's the share of the population living on less than $1 a day fell from 28% in 1987 to 23% in 1998. So some could argue there is an improvement, involving world poverty. This is also hazardous health condition including the very basic living accessory, clean drinking water is made unavailable. Some 1.3 billion people do not have access to clean drinking water. .

             The work safety within the village is dangerous. Workers, work 7 days a week in the mountain searching for tin. This would then be sold. This is how they make their money. Everyday is a risk. To get the drill out of the rock they use a drill. If the rock is too strong then it will be blown up, using dynamite. .
             There are roughly 1,000 accidents a year in the mines. Diseases are caught by the dust form the mines. This is a killer. The workers earn £1 a day for their work in the mountain. A usually daily shift lasts 12 hours. This works out at 8 pence an hour. Ask yourself if you would work for that ridiculous amount? They have no choice, they must work or they will have no other source of income.
