Good vs evil

            
             Since the beginning of time man has come across temptation and has given into it, it was the sole reason man was kicked out of paradise in the beginning of the universe. While no ones knows why mankind so openly choses the wrong path solely because that is what the individual feels that they want is unknown. It is clear that no matter how a person appears the old phrase 'don't judge a book by its cover' comes into play. While seeminglydecent citizens they could have such an urge to be as diabolical as to destroy thousands of lives with a single explosive while their neighbors seem to devote their lives to the service of others. The sides of man are there however invisible one side might be.
             With that in mind there is perhaps no greater interpretation of the struggle of the evil and goodness within ourselves than found in Robert Louis Stevenson's "The strange case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde".
             the story begins with what seems like two completely seperate men nothing alike in dignity nor virtue. A glance at Dr. Jekyll a respectable doctore and gentleman who is very much liked by practically everyone he has come in contact with.And his complete opposite Mr. Hyde a mysterious and deformed scrooge who despises and hates his fellow man. .
             In us all we have two sides the good and the bad but what if we were able to indulge in our evil desires of our darker side and no one would ever find out? To imagine in a way become our demons while we waited till they've had their full? In the story Dr. jekyll has developed a formula in which he can let loose his inner demon complete with different body without hurting his reputation of doctor and a gentleman. Dr. Jekyll found such a thrill in this he continued to do so and decided to name his alter ego Mr. Hyde. Hyde went about doing horrible wrongs but causing to lasting damage to anyone. Dr. Jekyll then thought since he did not have the urge to become hyde he wouldn't.
