Differences in Two Major Religons

You may be asking yourself what Hajj is, Hajj is a ritual practiced between the seventh and twelfth day of the last month of the Islamic year. At Mecca, the pilgrims are obliged to perform several rituals, including walking seven times around the Kaaba shrine. The Kaaba shrine is where Muslims go to Mecca and go to a cube-shaped figure made up of grey stone and marble. Each of the points on the cube is coordinated with the points of a compass. Inside the structure there are pillars made of silver and gold lamps. They walk around the Kaaba seven times and touch the black stone of Mecca on the eastern side of the Kaaba. This building is very important to the Islam religion because tradition holds that the Kaaba was built by Abraham and Ishmael. .

They are exact and always in Arabic. This is kind of a designated time where all of the Muslims all over the world unite to pray to Allah. Now on the other hand, Christians pray whenever they can work it into their schedule. Another aspect of both religions is fasting. Muslims are obligated to fast during the day time of Ramadan. Christians have no set times to fast. Yet though it must me practiced, both religions fast so they can get closer to their all-mighty God.
The Christian bible was written by a group of men under God's guidance. This is completely different for the Qur"an. It is believed to be Gods word directly on paper. Now the Christians used to use the same text that the Jews had, this is known as the Old-testament. But a new book was created by what the Christians believed, hence the name New-Testament. Both books have a law for believers to follow, and they are both to believe that there is one true God. Muslims believe that the writing of Abraham and other prophets were originally correct and of God, but after some time it was changed.
